GAH!!!

I've been lazy... again.... gonna post some new thoughts and theories here shortly.

Urgh!  I've been away from my lab too long!

Well, comrades, it seems like this place has fallen in a state of disrepair.  No need to fear, everything will be fixed.  I'm still working on my research into the creatures called humans, and during the recent absence, I've gathered much data.  I'll post some result soon.

Now where is test subject #E 19......

It's the Christmas/Hanukkah/Tet/Winter Solistice/possibly Ramada season, and while most of those who visit my lab may expect me to rant about how commericalized the world has become, or how everyone seems to be offended if you mention the holiday that you celebrate, (Christmas in my case) I'm going to put that aside for right now and enjoy what is good in the world.  (Besides, I think I did an experiment on that last year)

Happy Holidays.

Analysis of humanity #9 : Different

Recently, something caught my attention, while I was reading the news this morning, I came across an article that began like this......

"ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Nov. 12) - A man whose boat capsized in rough seas off the Florida coast treaded water for six hours, watching his friend die, while two boaters refused to pick him up apparently thinking he was an illegal immigrant from Haiti."

The boaters basically let the man's friend drown because they thought he was from a different country.  "Hey, do you think we should help them?" "Nah, they're foreigners, they don't deserve to live."  Sadly, this attitude is not new, as long as humans had serperate societies, they have felt apathetic towards those who were different.  They feel that they are superior to those of different nationalities, ethnic background, philosophies, and religions.  In ancient times, during war, it might've been a little advantage, but now it is a hinderence to the goal of peace. It's shocking that humans are now thinking of space travel and contact with intelligent alien life, while they still butcher each other and all life around them.

I'm not making this up

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia - Fear of long words.

Whoever came up with that must've been sadistic.

"I'm sorry sir, but I believe you have Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia."

"AAAHHHH!!!!"  ::Hyperventilates::
